Donate supplies for the cats
It's not just money that helps — food, blankets, and toys also make a difference for cats in need.
What can you donate?
Our shelter and foster families continuously need materials. Below you can see what we can use. Second-hand items in good, clean condition are also welcome.
What we need
Cat food
Dry and wet food for adult cats and kittens. All brands welcome. Unopened packages only.
Cat litter
Clumping or non-clumping cat litter. We go through it like water — we can never have enough.
Blankets & towels
Clean blankets, towels, and sheets for the shelter and foster families. Washed and without holes.
Transport carriers
Sturdy transport carriers in good condition. We use dozens every week for vet visits and relocations.
Toys & scratching posts
Cat toys, scratching posts, and enrichment materials. Second-hand is fine, as long as it's clean and intact.
Cleaning supplies
All-purpose cleaner, bleach, bin bags, kitchen paper, gloves. The shelter goes through large quantities.
What we unfortunately cannot accept
- Opened food or food well past its expiry date
- Broken or heavily soiled items
- Medication without original packaging
How can you donate?
Drop off
Bring your donation to our office/shelter location. Please call or email ahead so we know you're coming.

Send by post
You can also send supplies by post to our address. Mark the package "Donation in kind".

Soon you'll be able to order supplies directly from our online wishlist, delivered straight to us. We're working on a Zooplus and Bol.com wishlist.

Every blanket, every bag of food, and every transport carrier is used daily. Our shelter runs largely on in-kind donations from caring people in Amsterdam.
